Unconditional Love
She said," I am your woman, if you only could,Forgive me, please forgive me, if you only would,
Can't you see it in my eyes, can't you hear it in my voice,
I don't know the reason why I made such a bad choice,
Because I love you, I don't know what I should do,
Because I love you, I want to be honest, I am just a fool,"
I said," Baby! you are my woman, and I am your man,
Yes I'm confused and hurt, but I want you to understand,
The kids are over at Mama's, and were here all alone,
Won't you turn off the T.V., and I'll disconnect the phone,
Sit back and relax, and I will turn the radio on to K-109,
Let me grab a couple of glasses and pour us a glass of wine,
And maybe baby girl, just maybe, before this night is through,
We'll find the meaning behind those three little words, I love you,
I know that life can be hard, sometimes life gets us down,
But as long as we stick together there is no need for us to frown,
Because when a man loves a woman, and a woman loves a man,
Sometimes things happen that they don't always understand,
But as long as they stick together they can see it through,
Ease your worried mind baby; I will never stop loving you,"
She looked at me with those big beautiful brown eyes,
All sorrow left her face as she broke down and started to cry,
She quickly reached out to me and we began to embrace,
I hugged her and kissed her lips as I gently caressed her face,
And we sat down to talk, and we laughed as we drank the wine,
This went on for hours as if we met for the very first time,
Lost in each other, we made love the whole night through,
Our love that day was reborn into something completely new,
I love this woman with my heart and soul there is no doubt,
I love this woman unconditionally, that's what love is all about.
