Two In One
There is a darkness inside,
I cannot hide it,
It creeps on me at random,
I cannot control these sudden impulses,
This feeling to be defiant,
With no one to talk to,
No one here to listen,
A simple breach in a mental pattern,
Keeps my cerebral cortex bouncing,
Friendly or bitter,
Bright or dull,
Cold or cold,
I wish for relief but i cannot find peace,
This underlying person is calling,
Calling for freedom,
But there is only containment,
Wanting release,
But there is only captivity,
Feeling desperation,
Only leading to despair,
Freedom is a request,
Centuries old,
Nourishment is a necessity,
My sense just froze,
I open my mind,
But my head stays closed,
A constant battle with an omnipotent foe,
I'm at war with my past,
And as the titans clash,
I can't outwit my past,
I shake and stir,
Vision is but a blur,
I must win,
For dwelling in my past,
Will begin my end.
I cannot hide it,
It creeps on me at random,
I cannot control these sudden impulses,
This feeling to be defiant,
With no one to talk to,
No one here to listen,
A simple breach in a mental pattern,
Keeps my cerebral cortex bouncing,
Friendly or bitter,

Cold or cold,
