    Two Hearts That Fight

The love we share causes much pain.
    Enough is enough! But,
Two hearts that fight have much to gain.

“You give up too easy!” our love so vain.
“Don’t slam the door!” sorry the rage.
The love we share causes much pain.

Afraid to go outside, jealousy rains.
Corrupt is the system we have made, but
Two hearts that fight have much to gain.

The love we have is bound in chains.
Never to be unlocked: secrets, ashamed.
The love we share causes much pain.

“Where are you going?” we complain.
“Who are you talking to?” infinite blame, but
Two hearts that fight have much to gain.

When we look behind us, hatred remains,
In front, I promise will not be the same.
The love we share causes much pain, but
Two hearts that fight have much to gain.
