    Town Fair

    The Ferris Wheel glows neon
    againist the steel rainclouds.
As the dozing train rolls through the Montana town,
the beauty of simple pleasures is revealed -
    Evoking dream-like memories
of a life I never knew.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
