Time will heal thy broken heart
The one who walked away hurt us many times,Not much you or I can do to stop it,
Oh so many nights I lie awake,
Waiting for your return,
Your warmth,
Still here I am alone,
Cold,
Tired,
So many months have gone by,
Yet my heart is beating with each step,
A slow moving pace,
My blood,
Red like yours,
How is it I am so different?
Far from you,
My time from you has changed me,
Anew breath I take,
Yes it is time I look forward.
