    Thyself Monolog

Life is a search for thyself.
Some people find thy face at an early stage, some don't.
The process is painfull and full of adventure,
    because there is no deadline.
    No there should be one,
but a deadline depends on thy physical biological flesh's lifetime.

Life is a series of self destruction, searching for breakthrough.
Some people find it painful to change thyself, some don't.
The process is misery and full of thy constant self-dialogue,
    because there is only monolog.
No there should be a dialogue,
but a conversation depends on true communication.

Sylvia, A cerebral poem of thoughts that give rise to self-improvement when necessary and if one is motivated to do so. I liked how you arranged the ideas here to give the feeling of a stream of consciousness poem. ginga

An interesting way you wrote this. The second stanza is a parallel of the first, every line beginning with the same word. Impressive. And cleverly displayed, as the poem itself seems to speak to itself.....for others. Enjoyed this read.

"Life has set fire to us, we must burn…", either knowing or not knowing ourselves we must burn to the end — "a conversation depends on true communication" — a good line!

Thank-you for this piece of Western Philosophy. Please continue writing these thought-provoking works and if you have, give me your opinion of my sonnets [ English Sonnet I and Italian SonnetI].

I like your "Englush Sonnet" The exotic Latin it carries.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
