    thirst

     My heart just won't
    But I must
    I must
    Lest I return to the dust
    Without a true and lasting trust
    Trust, wholly in You

    But the thirst, seemingly too much to bear
    Thrusting myself to despair
    Lack of trust, filled with pride
    Push You away
    I do this
    So all my efforts leave me a waste
    Barely a memory of a single taste
    Hopeless, I make myself my own king
    Is this not hopeless?
    They leave me all a waste!
    They leave me all a waste

    Rediscover the pain of discovery
    You bring the wonder in misery
    The joy in the suffering
    I must GO!!!
    I must get up!
    Must drink!
    Is this You or is this me?
    I just keep holding on
    Your hand has held me from the beginning

    To come again
    To the Source of us
    To rescue us
    You rescue us
    You do
    You do

    I come again to the water
    To the water I return
    There is certain death elsewhere
    GOD save me!!!
    Let me not take this lightly!
    And let me drink
    Of You let me drink
    Of your suffering, JESUS
    Of Your finished work
    And we drink!
    Redeemed!
    Together we sing!
    (Let us receive this today!)
    I'm drinking all of You
    No more will I waste
    And beg for more
    My heart cries out
    You freely give!
    Your overflow
    You overflow us
    Please fill us
    Please overflow from us
    FAITH in the GOSPEL!!!

    Raw and emotional to the very core of your soul, bravo! I can feel the emotional angst and fustration as it pours from the pages of this text and into the recesses of my heart's keep! I have been down this road of self-discovery and enlightnement, I have walked the jagged journey along the rocky path. As humans we are flawed and broken from the first day of our birth, we are born of sin and flesh. Everything we learn and everything we sense all around us in the world leads us the dirt of dust and the death od one's inner soul, few have insight to awaken from darkenss of illusions of this world and be blind enough to see the truth within. God speaks to us all and guides us with his light and salvation but too often we are ignorant and prideful, to often we think we know what he wants and take it upon our shoulders to bear the weight of the entire world. The wiseman learns to close his eyes to the illusions of the world around us and walk blindly upon the road less traveled, being guided by only the inner light of one's salvation and theholy spirit. A wiseman knows that he has no power but that of GOD and when he relingushes all the weight upon his shoulder and falls to his knees in prayer for GOD to take the control, to guide him upon the path of darkenss, then and only then may one truely learn to see the light of GOD's grace and a path of crystal clear perfection shall be known, in faith a path can be seen in the darkness of the night... Perhaps I see, perhaps I am blind. Purity of the soul, journey well!!! with grace and humility ANGEL aka A blind man walking
