The One I Wish I Could Have

You pass me by without anything to say,
when all I want from you is the time of day,
Just say anything, ill listen anyway
Its the only real way to ease my pain.

You probably don't understand just how I feel,
or maybe you don't think I'm being for real.
My word is my bond, and my bond is my word
and if you think I'm lying, then you are truly absurd.

Its like everyday I have this continuous fight,
in my head, trying to make it right.
Just trying to get you to understand,
that all I really want to do is hold your hand.

If its the stars that shine for you,
then it is you that shines for me,
you make me want to be the best I can be
because with you, I know I can truly be free.

Not everyone gets what they want,
not everyone gets what they deserve
sometimes " I love you",
is the biggest lie that you've ever heard.
But you have to keep strong,
and you have to keep your head up high,
and realize that you are my angel, fallen from the sky.
