THE OLIVE BRANCH TO MY FATHER
The symbol of the olive branch,
I extend to thee.
A sign of peace and forgiveness,
A piece from the olive tree.
You may choose to accept
This offering of love, joy and peace.
I hope and pray that you do,
But only God knows the result of this degree.
If you choose to deny the gift,
Just know this from me,
It will be the last will ever get.
The last offering from the olive tree.
