The Old, New Love
I'm tired,
Tired of this old, new love we share.
Everytime i think its the best love i ever had,
I take a step closer, then i stumble and fall,
regreting my steps.
I'm tired,
Tired of denying our old, new love,
When i know it has the best of me,
I look into your eyes and quiver, melt,
cry, scream, laugh, smile,
Simultaneous emotions.
I'm tired,
So, so tired of what we have created,
or i should say it has developed within our hearts,
bodies and souls, an old, new love,
I'm walking away, I WILL WALK AWAY!
I'm tired,
Or so i thought, but everytime,
every second, minute, hour, everyday,
i think of walking out of this old, new love,
i remember i can't leave for my legs are cemented,
Cemented in this Old, New love.
"So enough of being tired", i tell myself,
for it is the old, new love that makes me look forward to each and everyday of my life full of adventure
and being with you,
am i tired? NO! i'm not, for we have built this old, new love,
for us to share.
Tired of this old, new love we share.
Everytime i think its the best love i ever had,
I take a step closer, then i stumble and fall,
regreting my steps.
I'm tired,
Tired of denying our old, new love,
When i know it has the best of me,
I look into your eyes and quiver, melt,
cry, scream, laugh, smile,
Simultaneous emotions.
I'm tired,
So, so tired of what we have created,
or i should say it has developed within our hearts,
bodies and souls, an old, new love,
I'm walking away, I WILL WALK AWAY!
I'm tired,
Or so i thought, but everytime,
every second, minute, hour, everyday,
i think of walking out of this old, new love,
i remember i can't leave for my legs are cemented,
Cemented in this Old, New love.
"So enough of being tired", i tell myself,
for it is the old, new love that makes me look forward to each and everyday of my life full of adventure
and being with you,
am i tired? NO! i'm not, for we have built this old, new love,
for us to share.
