The Lotus
I think it makes you happy.
Some where deep inside.
To be sad and unhappy.
To make you lose your mind.
Your life could end tomorrow.
Yet you drown yourself in sorrow.
Of the things that might have been , could have been.
Where will this get you I ask you my friend.
How does this make life better again?
I just want to know.
Because I'd love to watch you grow.
Like a lotus out of the darkness.
And emerge victorious and beautiful.
I know you have it in you.
To stop pushing away thoughs who care.
And for just once let some one be there.
To help you light your way.
Don't be afraid.
Things won't aways be the same.
Things get better if you let them.
So please try to learn this lesson.
Life is short so live it well.
And please try not to dwell.
Cause it's to short to waste.
On things you can not change.
