    The Guard Dogs Lament

They think i am lazey, but it`s not that hard.
Waiting luring and lying on guard.
    My ears eyes and nose,
tell me whats, in the yard.
    But if you should trespass,
it`s my teeth that you see,
when i bite you so hard.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
