    The everlasting breakup

Things are scattered inside my head
    wondering where wondering why
if i sit and think of things that were once said
i could rip out the memories in my mind

seeking lurking discovering which way to go
hiding escaping running to the past
    missing wanting needing you so
hoping praying for a love to last

why must i sit here alone in pitch black
sickend by the way things went over
when laughter was just a twisted mask
to hide the truth that this wasnt forever

things are scattered inside my head
    wondering where wondering why
if i sit and remember the way it was before you left
my lonelyness will consume me in time
