The Change

It should hurt,
 but it doesn't.
 Rather like a soft thouch,
 a warmth spreading trhough,
streanght like none before fills my every limb.
evan though bones cack and groan,
suddenly no more such feelings, gone.
Instead a hunger a thirst takes over all.
I see only one for which i now lunge, jerking back crying no.
Its you standing there all alone,
 but to late you know.
 From terror that grips,
of what i have become, for its to late .

You run.

this puts me in mind of a werewolf. like a dr.jekyll & mr.hyde thing. i do like this piece cuz maybe it reveals ur inner "darkness" eh? great job ;p

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
