The Castle
The Castle
Whispering winds in vacant halls
Echoed rumors who hail to all
Brilliant moonlight accents deep
Weathered corridors of mighty kings
Ruled, Glorified, walked with pride
Set in ruins at its demise
Fleeting history of depicted past
These walls consumed its heritage fact
Now it sets on top a hill
The castle road known oh so well
Treaded by strangers from afar
Honored memories convicting hearts
To treasure, to weep, to hold with pride
These noble walls still stand tall
Mighty, powerful is what they state
Valor will never leave this place
Stone by stone, seam by seam
This pattern had a greater scheme
Molded in by creators care
Even this had something to bear
The trust on which the kingdom stands
Created safety by normal hands
To protect, to hold, to stand with pride
The castle is a sign of life
Community, Fellowship, hand in hand
Courage here there has always been
Here it stands as decades end
This true place of noble men
A place that shall never cease
For The Castle it will always be
Whispering winds in vacant halls
Echoed rumors who hail to all
Brilliant moonlight accents deep
Weathered corridors of mighty kings
Ruled, Glorified, walked with pride
Set in ruins at its demise
Fleeting history of depicted past
These walls consumed its heritage fact
Now it sets on top a hill
The castle road known oh so well
Treaded by strangers from afar
Honored memories convicting hearts
To treasure, to weep, to hold with pride
These noble walls still stand tall
Mighty, powerful is what they state
Valor will never leave this place
Stone by stone, seam by seam
This pattern had a greater scheme
Molded in by creators care
Even this had something to bear
The trust on which the kingdom stands
Created safety by normal hands
To protect, to hold, to stand with pride
The castle is a sign of life

Courage here there has always been
Here it stands as decades end
This true place of noble men
A place that shall never cease
For The Castle it will always be
