The Casket
The casket will close,
And so will I -
To turn a deaf ear to those
On whom the world shouldn't have to rely.
Black and white
(and hoping for red)
And all the possible shades of grey
Are the reflections I see through your eyes -
Just before you look away.
The casket will close,
And so will I -
Even if I become sure of it
I will still deny.
And so will I -
To turn a deaf ear to those
On whom the world shouldn't have to rely.
Black and white
(and hoping for red)
And all the possible shades of grey
Are the reflections I see through your eyes -
Just before you look away.
The casket will close,
And so will I -
Even if I become sure of it
I will still deny.
