The Bullies

I look into their eyes and see the pain and tears
They hide it so well, which I have done for years
They have learned what they have seen, the words just fell apart
I only want their happiness, to fill their precious hearts
If I could fight their battles, I'd be their body guard
I would steer away conflict, I would make it very hard...
For those who came upon them, to just walk away,
They would never f*#@ with them, at least for today...
But tomorrow always comes, there will be another
I know I can't be there, I'm only their mother
But let me tell you this, they are my life,
If any harm comes to them, I am also a wife!!!

True and behold my offspring are the ones that keep me going everyday.....

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
