The avoidance of something to nothing
Rise up
O sullen queen
Rise up
O foolish magistrate
the tender nothings
are failing
the sweet somethings
are sailing
to a land of surrender
to a land of surrender
And when the weather
changes
And when the scent of
acidic moisture
is in the air
knuckles of
lethargic nobility ache
like the hands of
some sheriff of nottingham
with heads of peasants to
break
Rise up
world power
Rise up
planet police
tender nothings
are wailing
sweet children's bodies
are ailing
along the trail of the
obsolete
O sullen queen
mourning the loss of
ambition
waiting for the cohesive
prod of the masses
within the of herd of the
apathetic
an image
a joke of dreams arises
as populations
travel together...
or matbe they just...
creep together
focused on lazy speech
and so the struggle continues
as
the slaves rise up
and
the sleeping children
awaken
and all have the same idea of freedom
that says :
o how I wish someone else would
think for me
but in the silent distanc the phrase is heard
as long as its not me
just don't let it be me
O sullen queen
Rise up
O foolish magistrate
the tender nothings
are failing
the sweet somethings
are sailing
to a land of surrender
to a land of surrender
And when the weather
changes
And when the scent of
