TAKE A STAND
In the land of the free, home of the brave.
It's citizens too blind to see, a nation thats in peril.
We're in grave need of a revolution, if we hope to ever
take back the constitution, repeal oppressive amendments
that were passed in the name of National Security.
It's an absurdity to continue to define this country
as a true democracy, it reeks of hypocrisy.
We've been denied our civil liberties
been made victims of conspiracies.
Our sovereignty has become an illusion.
In the land of opportunity
we oppose the intrusion of our government
who act as if they have full immunity
while we are on the edge of complete and total ruin.
No longer are we governed of the people by the people.
Today we are governed by banks.
YES
DOLLARS POUNDS FRANCS.
We are slaves to a powerful beast
with one generation now worse off
than the one that came before it.
How much longer will we choose to ignore it?
They want to see us all broke on dope and uneducated.
We are kept in the dark about who really is affiliated.
No child left behind has lead to an infusion of ignorance.
Press rewind and notice how every incident is intertwined
to the next one, to where we are today.
From the great depression to this disastrous recession
we put our trust in a goverment of hidden agendas.
We know our leaders are working hard
We just don't know, who they are working for.
Because with stealth all our freedoms are being eradicated
THEY ALL NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED
.
.
.
(music starts)
oh I wish I was in the land of cotton
where our way of life was not forgotten
don’t look away
there must be a way
to lock them away
and
TAKE A STAND
