Poem Commentary

My tribute to Leslie for hosting brunch on Sunday.  What joy it brings to share with friends and family over food and thought.

Sunday Moments

Our sweet interlude on a Sunday afternoon

Was made extra special by your merry swoon.

Around the kitchen you swirled adorned,

With grace and glitter all neatly worn.

Your smile and warmth was more sweet,

Than the merriments you served for treat.

Your beauty and grace we all do cherish,

More than the surroundings you so elegantly embellish.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
