    Summer Sorrows

You always think the best of friends
    Stay together untill the end,
    But after a summer away,
We all just seem to fade away.

    The last day of school
    We all are kool
    We say we'll call,
But we don't end up doing anything at all.

    Some of them move away,
    And we say,
    "Oh yah, we'll call!",
    But once again.....
    Nothing at all.

I tryed to keep them close,
But my efforts went up in smokes.

    I'll always remember them,
And keep them in my heart,
    Remembering them as my
    Summer sorrows.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
