Stephen's Star
When i was small a friend once said,
That all the stars above my head,
Represent the ones we love,
Who now live with god above,
He said to search the night time sky,
And pick the one that caught my eye,
Then that star for me would be
The loved one that i couldn't see,
I was small and i believed him,
So i searched the sky for stephen,
One little star did stand out,
And i believed without a doubt,
That i had found my special star,
It was the brightest one by far,
Then all the worries that i felt,
And all the bad cards i was delt,
Would fade away when night time came,
And i could talk to him again,
I'd tell him all about my day,
And how he was missed in every way,
And he would sparkle up above,
Sending me down light and love,
Now i'm grown and know whats true,
I know my little star's not you,
But i also know that you are near,
I feel you with me everywhere,
And i still search the sky at night,
To find my little star so bright,
Because at night at least for me,
My little star is where you'll be.
That all the stars above my head,
Represent the ones we love,
Who now live with god above,
He said to search the night time sky,
And pick the one that caught my eye,
Then that star for me would be
The loved one that i couldn't see,
I was small and i believed him,
So i searched the sky for stephen,
One little star did stand out,
And i believed without a doubt,
That i had found my special star,
It was the brightest one by far,
Then all the worries that i felt,
And all the bad cards i was delt,
Would fade away when night time came,
And i could talk to him again,
I'd tell him all about my day,
And how he was missed in every way,
And he would sparkle up above,
Sending me down light and love,
Now i'm grown and know whats true,
I know my little star's not you,
But i also know that you are near,
I feel you with me everywhere,
And i still search the sky at night,
To find my little star so bright,
Because at night at least for me,
My little star is where you'll be.
