Soul'D

Quantities untold trickled fiercely in

as I backed timidly down.

Ferociously loud, the faces buzzed closer,

wquished tightly together, oozing evil

as they advanced on me.

Covered? Yes. Hid? Yes. Trembled? Beyond a doubt.

Their gnarled intentions dripped at my toes,

sizzling as they hit the ground.

These demons of defeat…

Can do no more harm

since the long delayed air of hope rustled my wings of determination.

Powerful? Yes. Fearless? Yes.  DESTROYED THEM? Demolished them.

The beating of their black hearts still resonates in my piteous hands…

Nothing, nothing can stop me,

I have recaptured my soul from your love draining despair…
