Sometimes I Wonder
sometimes I wonder,
what could have been,
what should have been.
sometimes I wonder,
I wonder if I'm better off,
I'm scared to make the call.
sometimes I wonder,
whats left behind every closed door,
I'm afraid to venture out.
sometimes I wonder,
I wonder what this all means
I wonder what life has to offer me,
I wonder what it would be
sometimes I wonder.
When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
