Soldier's Prayer.

Soldier's Prayer.

Once a heart broken fool,
Now a mere rich man's tool.
I'll never be a hero,
Unable to enter ground zero.
So now I write merely to inspire,
Through my aid, events transpire.
We've all but won the battle,
Enemies scattered about like cattle.
They read my work, know it's true,
Makes some soldiers feel so blue.
My poetry's to make familys feel better,
I'll see to it you each get a letter.
Sonnet for the troops in the Middle East,
I shall treat the families to a feast.
Fight, we can truly win,
Let the war secretly begin.
