    SLOW DANCING WITH THE MOON

I was Lost In My Own Little Dream World
    Thinking about Only You
    Gazing Out of My Window
And Slow Dancing with the Bright Moon.

    Remembering when we were together
Together just Me and just You
Holding me gently as we had Our last dance
    Slow Dancing Under the Moon.

Remember how much I still Love you
No matter how near of how far
I see Your eyes Looking down on me
    From every shimmering star.

So tonight when Your thinking of me
As I will be thinking of you.
Picture me as you did that night
Slow Dancing Now with the Moon.

Remember how much I still Love you
No matter how near of how far
I see Your eyes Looking down on me
    From every shimmering star.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
