    Size Matters

To give love and to hold love
He had a thimble, and she had a bucket.
Whenever she gave him all of her love
most of it spilled over, wasted.
And whenever he gave her all of his love
it was only a drop in the bucket.

Great water balloon fight though. A humorous piece of work, now flip it and that evens things up.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
