SING

Why sing a song of glee
Oh so many have asked of me
Especially from the troubles they see
Why not it me?
For many things I can sing in glee
Truly great things he's done for me.
For a truth, I must sing in glee
For if not I, then a tree
And the sea
Will sing my plea
If not I in glee
Then will he
Pay no ear to my many plea
But to a flea.
So, then who shall hear me?

Nice= keep singing

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
