    Simple Words

    Spoken words are not enough
To illustrate the way I feel
They escape my lips with such ease
Yet my heart they still do not reveal

If I could only wrangle the stars
To place them in your hands
Yet they would still fall short
Of the love I want the world to understand

I could give you everything I possess
My heart, My world and all within
However I would still long for more to give
With an ending that would never begin

    Nothing on this earth compares
To the love I have found so true
    And nothing ever could express
My love I hold in my heart for you

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
