    Poem Commentary

    hOW WATER COULD BE SUCH A POWERFUL ENEMY, IMAGINE THE FLOODS, DEVASTATING AND WHEN YOU WITNESS IT COULD BE MORE ALARMING. THE RECENT UTTARAKAND DEBACLE , WHEN I WATCHED OVER TV , MADE ME INSTANTLY WRITE THIS POEM.

    She surges on

        She      surges on....

    She    surges  on

    with   an  orgy  of

    Irreconcilable   fury

    and   vendetta  ;

    nacromancer's tricks ,

     overriding   the   wet

    and  dry  wall, dam’s

     Barricade:  she

    invades    busy  land’s

    buzz   and   bustle;

    fulfilling     the  long

    sought  after watery

      holocaust: soon   to  float,

    how   many  rot  in  her

    gush     gale  interplay!
