    Shapes

      Love takes many shapes
    an open hand,an empty room.
Love takes shape over my heart
    sometimes warm sometimes hard,
    But always leaving a scare.
Love takes my soul to forgotten heights
Lets me see the essence of life, never forgetting absolute delight.
      Love takes many shapes
But most of all it is why I can wake another day
to see in your eyes why love will never go away.

                     Theodore Scott

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
