Sense Poem
Hate
Hate is pitch black.
It tastes like new tar.
It smells like fresh blood.
And reminds me of war.
It sounds like the wind howling in pain
Hate makes me feel like dying.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
