    School

    School

    School, school is a jungle,

There are the tigers, the cheerleaders

There are the lions, the cheerleaders

There are the meercats, the nerds who hide underground

There are the giraffes, the models

    But who am I

    You never see me……

    I’m an Ant

I have to watch for ant eaters

Or big animals that might step on me

    School, school is a jungle

    What animal are you

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
