Scars of Desires
The opaque spiral staircase is winding it's way toward the sky, along each step lie the wounded. As I pass, each one pleads for a word or thought, or gesture.
Now I stop, a fear to go higher burns deep within me. A certain untouchable desire fades in and out. Each new minute brings me closer to the step, the top...the fear.
Seeking help only leads to pain, every person leaves a new scar for me to unfold and wear.
A shell for protection becomes the only seclusion for a distraught and tormented body and soul.
At last, one sincere shadow makes it's presence known to my mind. If I let it grow, will I suffer further?
I have no spot left untouched by pain, the slow torment of her fury.
