Saving Me From Myself

The person I always thought i was I have found I dont like much. In the struggle to chip away behavioers, attitudes and  such has brought me to the conclusion that the many faces of who i've been dont have to be who i am. I can like me because i've realized im a beautiful soul thats made bad choices. And as the holy spirit leads me, i like that i am saving me from myself.

Simple poem. Check your "I"'s. These small mistakes distract me from the essence of your writing. A good poem.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
