SANDS OF LOVE
Loves so like sand, since the beginning of time,
So tender when scattered, it sifts through my mind,
So easy to slip away, it can’t tell where it belongs,
And if whispered to loudly, in an instant it’s gone,
But it always refills, with hurt in its place,
Why couldn’t this exchange, be like Mosaic to Grace?
Loves so like sand, has slipped right through my hands,
The need is so great it’s like supply and demand,
Just to have love, steep mountains I’d climb,
I’ll swim great seas I’ll travel through time,
Let me emphasize for you, how important it is to me,
It’s like what sun is to life or even sand is to sea,
Loves so like sand, created for woman and man,
If love had ears to hear my heart, then it would understand,
That wounded hearts from abandoned times,
Find it very hard to mend,
Until the loneliness is broken, an no more bitterness within,
When GOD created love, also creating women and man,
They were intended to drift, together forever
Through marriage, vows & band.
