    Residuum

    Did you leave
    Knowing
    Empty rooms
    Stark bare quiet
    Would
    Engulf me
    Suffocate me
    Drowning alone
    In a sea of silence
    I cannot escape

    Attempts at rescue
    Half-hearted
    Only prolonged
    The struggle.
    Swallowing whole
    Gulps of pain
    Now desiring
    Only
    My captor.
