Reap What You Sow
I have fallen away to the side,
Now I am lost adrift on the tides,
Who is coming out to see,
This broken body that used to be me,
There are no tears, there are no smiles,
My body just drifts for miles and miles,
I have no past, I have no future.
And now I must live with this constant torture,
They say life it is what you make it,
Others say grab life by the horns and take it,
I say live each day as if it was your last,
Have a party when you die,
And make everybody try to laugh,
I am not here, yet I am not gone,
The thoughts that I had so randomly,
Will still linger on,
You cannot see me but you know I am around,
I am in your laugh, and touch you when you frown,
I dry your tears you cry alone at night,
I walk beside you and hold you with all my might,
You say you know who I was,
But did you see the morning dove,
It was I that cooed in the morning sun,
I was the sand you ran on,
While you were having fun,
I am the air you take into your lungs to breathe,
I am the dirt you wipe from both your knees,
I am here now and forever will be,
I am the earth, the sky, the water, the trees,
You have taken me for granted for long enough,
I can’t take it anymore I am just not that tough,
I am the world and I am crying,
For because of your actions,
You have left me dieing.
