Poem Commentary

Have you ever found your self at times with nothing to do? It's so weird in this scarmbled up world we-all exist in and move rapidly around like missed up mice on some exspiremental drug!

I found myself here recently, so quietly borred and with nothing to do! It really scared me in how much thinking a person can truely do. All they have too do is STOP! Wow! What a concept huh? It's very diffrent and not so exciting but still Reflection I guess has its good and bad to it!

If you like this poem thats great!

"No Where to go & No Where to be"

I sat on the porch today,

watching the clouds roll away.

Thinking of my life!

Searching for more than I know.

Feeling small & bound to grow.

My soul needs something, anything!

Still the lostness of my temperless and restless soul.

I almost cry but here I set and hide!

Why?

Oh, I can make believe or even lie.

I caint do any of that,

It wouldn't be real or a fact!

So, I'll just set here and Lay on back,

Stare at the clouds and at the porch floor cracks.

All of us needs a time for our self. A time to reflect. A time to rest and be at peace with our self. I find your poem very interesting. Keep it up! Cheers!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
