"My Children" by Herbert Hewliss Brown
They closed the door I closed my eyes then opened up my mind to the memories of my children and how we used to spend our time. At the parks on a summer day to swing, swim, slide and play!
They closed the door; I closed my eyes, and much to my surprise-memories of my children’s joys still lingers deep inside. We would run, laugh, and play all day-we could never get enough.
They closed the door but not my heart my feelings are intact. My children are my legacy, and you best believe that! My children are my greatest joy! I praise God for them! Their memories’ are locked inside my heart as if they were on film.
They closed the door; but not my mind, therefore my soul is free; to love my children more than life, and this you must believe….My children are my greatest joy-I will say this once again. My children are always with me, in my spirit and deep within.
