Hello my fellow poets. My name is Melissa. Born and raise in Cleveland. At the age of ten I began my journey of writing. I became inspired by my teacher at the time, Ms Hinnat. I haven't seen her since but i wish to see her again. Throughout my school she'll read to us her poetry and I remember being so fascinated by the way she poured her soul. I felt like I could feel her joy, pain, or sorrow. Whatever feeling she was in at the moment in time she allowed us to step into her world and i did everytime. I told myself I wanted to do the same thing. For many years I wrote poetry I saw my progression after years passed by. I must admit though I haven't written a poem in quite awhile but I am here now to change that and get back so the thing I love and that's writing. I won't a poem called the blank sheet that I dedicated to all poets. once I find it I'll post it and tell me what ya think. Thank you for your time wish you the best.
