    Pledge

     I pledge alligience
    to the flag
    and the machine standing strongly
    behind it
    and to the greedy politicians
    and biggotted corrupt pigs
    for which it stands,
    One nation under the
    almighty inflated dollar...
    with high prices
    double standards and
    no privacy for All.
    Amen?

    You have hit it on the head. Everybody knows your words are true, but you probably scared them. Thank you for the true meaning the pledge has become. Love it.

    Thanks, this was written in the 1970's but it does apply.

    Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
