PATCHES
THE MANY YEARS WE SPENT TOGETHER WILL SCAR MY HEART FOREVER,AND EVER;THE MANY TEARS I CRIED ON YOUR BEHAFT,SEEM LIKE SOMEONE ELSE'S FORGOTTON PAST. PATCHES ON MY BARREN HEART WON'T MEND THE TEARS I'VE CRIED, THE LONELYNESS WON'T GO AWAY, THE FEARS THEY DON'T SUBSIDE. BABY YOU WERE MINE AWAY BACK WHEN I WAS YOUNG, LIFE DIDN'T MAKE MUCH SINCE, BUT THE PATCHES ON MY BROKEN HEART WILL BE THERE TILL I DIE.TAKE AWAY THE LONELYNESS, THE EMPTY HOURS,THE LONG HARD DAYS, SO I MAY SEE LOVE AGAIN, IN MY LIFE. SEW COLORED PATCHES TO HIDE MY FEARS,I WANT TO KEEP THEM BURIED IN HERE, AS A REMINDER OF YOUR TARNISHED LOVE.PATCHES ON MY BARREN HEART WON'T HIDE THE TEARS I'VE CRIED,BUT WILL HOLD TRUE TO MEMORIES BETTER LEFT BURIED INSIDE. MY "PATCHES".
