~*~Pain~*~
*Pain*I am self-conscious
Of all the sufferings I bear,
With little ease, I manage
To push it aside, but
With one single tear.
The hurt, the struggle,
And the angry, remorseful
Feelings still trouble me.
Adding more to my pain
And despair, is more than
I can bear.
Still, the pain in my heart
Grows stronger
As I keep my feelings within;
And never let the past
slip by me.
Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
