  • Wondering what the hell is wrong with the world.

Not with a whimper

I am a ghost in my own life
ephemeral, drifting through the same day
over and over and over
rage and frustration build
until I want to scream, to smash
to assert my existence in some meaningful way

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you enjoy a fantastic day!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
