Not Mad Enough
We've both said some things
That neither of us mean
And I know when it comes down to it
We'll probably take them back
But baby I'm not sure
What any of this means
I'm not sure I'm ready
To completely turn my back
I'm not ready to say goodbye
I'm not even ready to let go
Can't we just try to forget this fight
I'm mad enough to end this tonight
I've tried to swallow my pride
And swallow those words
But the thoughts resurface
When you start to scream at me
I thought we covered this
Why'd you bring it up again
Did I just say all of this
For absolutely nothing
I'm still not ready to say goodbye
I'm not even ready to let go
Can't we just try to forget this fight
I'm not mad enough to end this tonight
Wait what just happened
No baby, please don't go
The clouds rolled in
I know it's colder outside
I'm sorry
Why don't you just stay
Safe and warm with me
I'm not ready to say goodbye
I'm not even ready to let go
Can't we just try to forget this fight
I'm not mad enough to end this tonight
That neither of us mean
And I know when it comes down to it
We'll probably take them back
But baby I'm not sure
What any of this means
I'm not sure I'm ready
To completely turn my back
I'm not ready to say goodbye
I'm not even ready to let go
Can't we just try to forget this fight
I'm mad enough to end this tonight
I've tried to swallow my pride
And swallow those words
But the thoughts resurface
When you start to scream at me
I thought we covered this
Why'd you bring it up again
Did I just say all of this
For absolutely nothing
I'm still not ready to say goodbye
I'm not even ready to let go
Can't we just try to forget this fight
I'm not mad enough to end this tonight
Wait what just happened
No baby, please don't go
The clouds rolled in
I know it's colder outside
I'm sorry
Why don't you just stay
Safe and warm with me
I'm not ready to say goodbye
I'm not even ready to let go
Can't we just try to forget this fight
I'm not mad enough to end this tonight
