    No longer

I know this love is dying
    See the embers fade.
Though I am just a witness
To the love we once made.
No longer will I hold you
    I wish I could erase
The memory of the painful tears
    That " final end embrace".
    No longer will we whisper
    The words that lovers do.
    No longer is there magic
In the love we once knew
No longer will we share those dreams
We wished to make come true
No longer can I feel the same
That I once did for you.
    No longer will we quarrel
    No longer will I cry.
No longer will we pledge our love
    We'll simply say Good-bye.

You forgot to mention this poem belongs to bandit1192. If you like it that's great, and I'm flattered, but don't put it out as one of your own. TS

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
