My Sparkling Pink Flower

My Sparkling Pink Flower

My sparkling pink flower

The stem is solidly strong, no scarring alon its shaft

Each petal a sparkling pink, perfectly shaped with equal spacing

Nothing extra to trim. So tempted I am to hold my flower in my hand till

It is no more. I pray, must I place you in a vase to set

Upon a table to wilt becoming less than beautiful.

I have held you to my face time and time again enjoying your fragrance wich

Before was the nectar that the bees sought, but now has the

Ensence of love. In this vase you have only a few days

Of glamour. But knowing in my heart my flower you live forever

In your greatness. My sparkling pink flower.
