    Poem Commentary

               I  wrote this poem about my little
      granddaughter, Jayde, who has some developemental delays.  She has melted my heart and is such a joy to me. I thank the Lord for placing her in my care and I look forward to each new challenge with the knowledge that the Lord will be by our side all the way.

    My Little Jayde

               

        Jayde,my special little Jayde

        You're such a joy to me

        I do believe the Lord above

       Sent you for me to love

       Because He knew

      That I'd take care of you

      and help you to grow

      Little girl, I love you so

      From your curly brown hair

      to the tip of your toes

     So full of sunshine and laughter

     Yes, you have your daddy's nose

     I know you'll be all right

     God will watch over you

     and see you through
