    My Last Dance

    A dance of romance,
    Sealed with loving glance.
    Commitment of love;
    So blessed from above
    Brings a life of marriage,
    Baby in the carriage.
    Years go by so fast,
    Young years just don't last.
    Son grows tall and strong,
    I am not so young.
    He and I now dance,
    Sealed with caring glance.
    Waltzing to my chair,
    Loving arms of care.
    Dance not of romance,
    Our dance - my last dance.

    I can always relate to a spoken word that is and has been a reality in the lives of so many. Pain-love-sadness-tribulations-sex and love are so deep and dramatic in our lives and you have expressed this so deeply in your words which is a real reality. When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
